At the Sony E3 press conference, we got to see the very first gameplay from God of War 4. The PlayStation 4 exclusive looks gorgeous.

In the ten minute demo, we see an older Kratos take a young boy on a hunt through the snow. They encounter some monsters—goblins, a troll, a majestic elk of some kind, and then some winged beast.

We appear to be in somewhat less of a Greek-themed world here, with a bit more epic fantasy flair. This is because it’s set within Norse mythology this time around. (I’m not sure how Kratos flits between two mythologies but whatever. Looks great.)
